The ME Shipbuilding Gantry Crane is a heavy-duty gantry crane designed for large spans, high lifting altitudes, and substantial load capacities, making it ideal for shipyard applications.
Key Technical Features:
1.Versatile Lifting Functions: Capable of single-point lifting, hoisting, in-air turnover, and slight horizontal rotation of loads.
2.Optimized Structural Design: Available in single or double girder configurations. The girder utilizes a variable cross-section design for optimal material efficiency and strength.
3.Dual-Crab System:
The upper crab is equipped with two main hooks, mounted outside the girder.
The lower crab features one main and one auxiliary hook, positioned centrally between the girders.
Both crabs can operate and cross over each other independently.
4.Advanced Control: All operating mechanisms employ frequency conversion control for smooth and precise movement.
5.Integrated Maintenance: A jib crane is installed on the girder at the rigid leg side to facilitate maintenance of the upper and lower crabs.
6.Storm Protection: Equipped with reliable anti-wind devices such as rail clamps and ground anchors.
Advanced Safety & Intelligence:
Comprehensive Safety System: Features a full crane safety monitoring system. Utilizes PLC and frequency converter communication for synchronous control of multiple lifting points, ensuring balanced, stable, and safe operation.
Intelligent Positioning:
An intelligent automatic positioning system enables highly precise load placement.
A unique double-rails-on-one-side design effectively reduces wheel pressure, lowering construction costs.
Efficiency & Energy Saving:
Robust Construction: Fabricated from high-strength special steel, ensuring structural safety and enabling sustained heavy-load operation.
Energy Recovery: The 750-ton model operates on a 10KV power supply and incorporates an energy regeneration system that recovers electricity during load lowering, achieving 25%-30% energy savings.
Ship gantry crane task is to put all the parts required for the manufacture of the ship (ribs, steel, steel, etc.) from the ground transportation to manufacturing place. this transport work must be able to complete the task in a very long journey in transportation quickly. therefore, the number of cranes decided, enough to reach the dock area of the entire foundation, and each crane mutually interfere with each other in principle.
